Overview
PantraNet is a highly scalable web-based enterprise management platform. How and why PantraNet’s contact management is different.
Most businesses have separate contact lists for each mail, phone, vendor, client relationship and sales system in the office. Information does not flow between systems. Employees spend up to fifteen hours per week on organizing and retrieving information. Often each employee maintains a separate contact list for each system. Frequently employees can only access the systems and lists they need from their computer, phone and filing cabinet at their office. That challenges businesses to oversee what is going on in their enterprise and how to get the right information to the right employee when it is needed. PantraNet’s unique contact profiling eliminates data duplication and allows information to be assembled and accessed from anywhere, on demand.
Unlike other contact systems, PantraNet lets users profile their data entries using four categories:

b. Your employees
c. External contacts, and
d. Companies that employ external contacts
Each category has unique profiling opportunities within PantraNet. Profiles contain privileges and settings. Activating a privilege in a profile automatically makes it appear as a function on a user’s desktop, net book or smart phone. Adjusting settings in a profile changes the way information is handled by the system or how the function operates.

PantraNet’s contact management uniquely allows contacts, such as clients and customers, to log in to your company and use the external contact interface. From there they can self-serve most of their account, document and access to information requests.
Other systems do not make these distinctions or have these capabilities.
